MIA Chapters are the local foundation of MIA. Based at universities and academic institutions around the world, chapters create spaces where students, researchers, and educators can connect, collaborate, and grow within supportive academic communities.

Each chapter reflects MIA’s core values while remaining responsive to local contexts. Through mentorship, events, discussions, and outreach, chapters work to strengthen academic pathways and foster a culture of curiosity, scholarship, and service.

Start an MIA Chapter

MIA welcomes students and scholars interested in establishing a chapter at their institution (university or highschool). Chapters are open to individuals from all academic disciplines and backgrounds who share an interest in scholarship, mentorship, and community-building.
